Concrete Irrigation Diversion Blocks ~
$81.25 ea.
The concrete block diversion was designed to
provide an environmentally friendly alternative to traditional diversion
methods of using permanent dams constructed with large rock and temporary dams
constructed with river gravels. The only permit required for this diversion
would be a 310 annual or 10 year permit from the local Conservation District.
Technical assistance is available from DNRC for design and installation of new
concrete block diversions.

Rain Gauges ~ $3.00 ea.
Designed to push in the soil or hang on a
fence post. They work very well to check the water distribution on your
sprinkler system.


Soil Moisture Probes ~ $40.00 ea.
An easy,
inexpensive method for determining soil moisture. They can be used
for checking soil moisture storage prior to seeding; determining fertilizer
application rates; making crop planting decisions; calculating irrigation water
applications; monitoring lawn and garden watering; and detecting areas of
saline seep. Each probe comes with the MSU interpretive guide, "Grain
Yields Related to Stored Soil Water and Growing Season Rainfall".

Staking Flags ~ bundle of 100 for

A versatile marking tool used to post
survey boundaries, mark utility lines or sewers, or indicate plant positioning
and species identification. The lead-free flags are colorfast, mold and mildew
resistant, and flexible. The 30 inch flags are sold in bundles of 100.

Conservation Charley Publication ~ $20.00
This publication is a compilation of articles titled “Conservation Charley”
which were written weekly from 1957 to 1967 in several newspaper columns across
the state. Author Harry Corry served for 35-years as both a District
Conservationist and Range Conservationist with the U.S. Soil Conservation
Service (NRCS) in
